Behaviour

The school expects high standards of behaviour from everyone. We have six school values which must be kept at all times. Through PHSE, assemblies and teachers setting clear expectations we ensure that pupils have a good understanding of what good behaviour at Mulberry Canon Barnett looks like.

If children keep the school values then they are rewarded on a Friday afternoon with thirty minutes of Golden Time in which they can choose to do something that interests them. If they break a Golden Rule they lose some Golden Time. It is possible to earn back Golden Time if their behaviour shows improvement.

Children are encouraged to think about their actions and reflect on the effect it has on other people. The school will not tolerate bullying or racism in any way and parents will be informed straight away if their child is involved in any of these so that we can work together to bring about changes.
