Nursery - 'What the Ladybird Heard' by Julia Donalson
This week we are enjoying another text by Julia Donalson... have you ever read "What the Ladybird Heard"? It's a great story for learning all the sounds that animals on the farm make, and our children are joining in with so much enthusiasm. We have been thinking about good listening and made our own paper cup telephones to send messages. On Thursday we had fun printing and painting ladybirds with potatoes and cotton wool buds, our pictures look super colourful! We even made edible ladybirds with bright red icing and chocolate chip spots...a delicious treat to end the week.
